Winter and Summer language and activity camps for ESL and International students K – 12 are also offered in Richmond. These programs are designed to meet the learning needs of international and new students who wish to supplement their English language development during the summer months of July and August.
Continuing Education For International Education Professionals
In addition to offering school-based International Student Programs, Richmond District also designs, promotes and maintains a series of institutes for educational professionals including Classrooms teachers, English As A Second Language specialists and Administrators. These institutes take place at all times during the year and range from two weeks to eight weeks.
Overseas Opportunities and Teacher Exchange Programs
Richmond teachers are in demand throughout the world for their expertise and teaching knowledge. To this end, in addition to providing learning opportunities in Richmond, the Continuing Education Department designs, promotes and facilitates overseas visits and exchange opportunities. Specifically, we provide guidance and support for visiting teachers and administrators throughout the year in our schools. As a district we also send teachers overseas for the short and long term to model and discuss effective teaching practices.
We offer interesting and worthwhile training programs for a broad range of professional groups and organizations.
Training sessions are designed to meet the needs of specific user groups.
Prices vary according to program parameters.
